These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website https://globalnetworkcourier.in/ (“Website”) and the courier, logistics and allied services (“Services”) provided by Global Network Courier (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing the Website or booking a shipment, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1) Definitions

  • Shipper/Sender: The person or entity booking the shipment.
  • Receiver/Consignee: The person or entity to whom the shipment is addressed.
  • Shipment: One or more packages, documents or parcels sent under a single waybill.

2) Scope of Service

We provide domestic pickup, transportation, and delivery of documents and parcels through our network and partner carriers. Acceptance of any shipment is subject to weight/size limits, serviceability of the destination, and compliance with these Terms.

3) Booking, KYC & Accuracy

  • The shipper must provide complete and accurate pickup/delivery addresses, contact numbers and contents description. Additional attempts or address corrections may be chargeable.
  • KYC documents may be required in accordance with applicable laws and carrier policies.

4) Packaging & Labelling

  • Proper packaging is the shipper’s responsibility. Fragile, perishable or high-value items must be packed to withstand normal handling. We may refuse inadequately packed shipments.
  • All packages must be clearly labelled with the waybill number, shipper and receiver details.

5) Prohibited & Restricted Items

The following (illustrative, not exhaustive) are prohibited or require prior written approval: currency, bullion, precious stones/metals, valuable securities, passports, firearms/ammunition, explosives, flammables, narcotics/contraband, human or animal remains, live creatures, bio-hazardous materials, lithium batteries not per carrier rules, temperature-controlled goods, and any item whose carriage is illegal under Indian law. We may open and inspect shipments for security/compliance.

6) Volumetric Weight, Charges & Taxes

  • Charges are based on the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (industry formula as per carrier rules). Re-weigh/re-measure adjustments may apply.
  • Fuel surcharge, RTO (return to origin), address correction, re-attempt, ODA (out-of-delivery-area) and other ancillary fees may be applicable.
  • Duties, octroi, entry tax, customs charges and local levies (if any) are payable by the consignee or shipper as applicable.

7) Pickup, Delivery & Transit Times

  • Pickup and delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed unless a guaranteed service is explicitly purchased.
  • If the consignee is unavailable, we may attempt re-delivery or deliver to a neighbour/security with proof, or hold at a service point. Undeliverable shipments may be returned at the shipper’s cost.
  • Force majeure events (e.g., weather, strikes, pandemic restrictions, regulatory checks) may impact timelines.

8) Proof of Delivery (POD)

Delivery may be evidenced by signature (physical or electronic), OTP, photo POD or other acceptable confirmation by the delivering partner. Such confirmation constitutes conclusive proof of delivery.

9) Risk, Insurance & Declared Value

  • Risk in the contents remains with the shipper unless additional transit insurance is purchased. Declared value is used for customs/compliance and does not imply insurance.
  • We strongly recommend insuring high-value or fragile items. Insurance claims, if purchased, are subject to the insurer’s terms.

10) Loss, Damage & Claims

  • External damage or shortage must be noted on delivery and reported to us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the package (outer & inner), invoice and waybill.
  • Non-delivery claims must be raised within 7 days from the latest expected delivery date.
  • Submit claims to customercareglobalnetwork@gmail.com with shipment details and evidence. Resolution timelines may vary based on partner carrier investigations.

11) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for loss, damage, delay, mis-delivery or non-delivery shall be limited to the lesser of: (a) the actual direct loss proved; (b) the declared value; or (c) INR 1,000 per shipment or the freight charges paid (whichever is lower), unless additional insurance has been purchased. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential losses (including lost profits, market or opportunities).

12) Right of Inspection & Lien

We and our partners may open and inspect any shipment without notice for security, safety or regulatory reasons. We have a general lien on shipments for all outstanding charges and may withhold, retain or dispose of shipments to recover dues after reasonable notice.

13) Website Use & Intellectual Property

Content on this Website (text, graphics, logos, icons, software) is owned by or licensed to Global Network Courier and protected by applicable IP laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without prior consent. You agree not to misuse the Website, attempt unauthorised access, or engage in activities that disrupt its operation.

14) Privacy

Personal data shared with us is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our Services you consent to the collection and use of information for booking, tracking, customer support and compliance purposes.

15) Suspension & Termination

We may refuse, suspend or cancel any shipment or your Website access for non-payment, suspected fraud, security or legal/compliance reasons, or breach of these Terms.

16) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Dindigul, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory laws to the contrary.

17) Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. Continued use of the Website or Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
